| Northumberland County Show Monday 28 May 9:00 – 18:00 Councillor Derek Kennedy reports “The magnificent Northumberland County Show at Bywell (near Stocksfield) takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 28th May. Lots of rural activities are planned with a horse riding stunt team, a cycle stunt team, birds of prey display, gun dogs, cattle and sheep, Cumberland wrestling and lots of local and international food and drink and attractions for young children also. Over 23,000 people attended last year. Hope to see you there.”The show is held at Bywell near Stocksfield NE43 7AB, just off the A69, A695 and A68 main trunk roads, approximately 15 miles west of Newcastle and 7 miles east of Hexham.
